[edit] Notes
- Running the full game with WINE seems to load the game but then it crashes. It can show the first window where you set your graphic preferences, then it crashes. Here's part of the output:
-- a lot of code complaining about fixme:d3d:IWineD3DDeviceImpl_SetRenderState -- wine: Unhandled exception 0x80000003 at addrIWineD3DDeviceImpl_SetRenderStateess 0x4b1209 (thread 0009), starting debugger... WineDbg starting on pid 0x8 0x004b120a: movl 0xc(%esp),%eax Wine-dbg>
Maybe a lame statement of mine, but it seems something related to playing the intro movie.
- Starting the demo (tried with various settings) crashes with the following output:
Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0xdeadbeef in 32-bit code (0xdeadbeef). In 32-bit mode. - The same happens with the full version of the game, but instead of outputting something when it crashes, it just shows the message:
mmtime pid=24728 tid=24734 wine: Unhandled exception, starting debugger...
and exits.
