[edit] Issues
- The game will crash if you try to use any Cedega version below 4.2 and show a messagebox with the following error:
Critical Error Assertion failed: GetClassInfoExA( NULL, TCHAR_TO_ANSI(WinBaseClass), Cls ) [File:Inc\Window.h] [Line: 1446] History: WControl::RegisterWindowClass <- UWindowManager::UWindowManager <- InitWindowing
This is caused because it's missing riched20.dll which is not present in the default configuration of Cedega and Point2Play. You need to place riched20.dll in your ~/.transgaming/c_drive/windows/system32/ or ~/.point2play/game-name/c_drive/windows/system32/. Then restart the game and it will start up normally.
Download riched20.dll (414k)
Note: This fix is only needed if you want to install the game with a Cedega version below 4.2 as 4.2 includes a stub version of riched20.dll.
[edit] Note
- I used a no-cd crack to speed up the game's start-up time. It's not needed, but I just find it to be more convenient.
