[edit] Cedega Issues
- The installer will pause when fading in a new hero picture, but it does that under Windows also.
- All patches work. (1.01-1.04)
- Upon launching, Cedega gives a "wine: Unhandled exception, starting debugger..." error. (Older versions drop into gdb.) This occurs regardless of the patch version, Cedega version, or config settings.
- Demo has the same problems.
[edit] Wine 0.9.16 Issues
- The installer will pause when fading in a new hero picture, but it does that under Windows also.
- Patches untested, but should work. If not, use Cedega.
- When starting the game in windowed mode, the screen does not refresh. To fix, try alt-tabbing 4 times, then clicking inside the window. Unfortunately this prevent DXGrab from working, making map movement harder.
- Full-screen mode seems to work better.
- After building a unit, it is likely to be invisible for a second.
- Unit speech is garbled.
